2: Hot Work, Cool Solutions: Real-World Lessons from Heat Stress Innovation Pilots
5

As rising temperatures put workers at greater risk for heat-related illnesses and injuries, organizations are increasingly turning to innovative technologies to reduce risk and improve comfort in extreme conditions. Through support from the National Safety Council’s Work to Zero initiative, six organizations put cutting-edge heat stress solutions to the test, from wearable sensors and active cooling devices to drone-assisted site mapping and thermal-regulating footwear. This session brings together the safety leaders behind these pilots to share real-world results, lessons learned and strategies for successful implementation. Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at how each pilot was designed and executed, leaving with practical insights to apply these innovations within their own workplaces.
